(CNN)Twenty-two individuals were wounded after 2 cranes clashed in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday early morning, according to Austin-Travis Region Emergency Situation Medical Solutions.
Sixteen sufferers were delivered to health centers with non-life-threatening injuries, ATCEMS representative Capt. Darren Noak informed press reporters.
He explained it as a “crane vs. crane event that took place at a building website.” There was no architectural collapse, as the company originally reported, he claimed.
Though his company tweeted that rescue groups were trying to get to a crane driver, Noak claimed there was no rescue procedure underway.
One crane driver was still on scene, he claimed.
It’s Noak’s understanding that everybody wounded operated at the building website, he claimed.
8 rescues replied to the scene, as well as the event stays under examination, he claimed.
The event was reported concerning 10:38 a.m. (11:38 a.m. ET), the ATCEMS tweeted.
The crash was available in the Mueller area of northeast Austin. There is a park, kids’s healthcare facility, apartment building as well as shopping mall in the location.
